Two House members preview bill for federal AI agency and shutdown switch

Reps. Don Beyer and Sara Jacobs previewed a bill that would create a federal agency to set AI standards.
The proposal also includes an emergency switch that could shut down AI models.
Both lawmakers oppose a measure called FRONTIER, which would limit state rules on AI.
