Several smaller AI model releases land, including a fast OCR model

• A new engineering-focused model called SKY-001 reportedly runs much faster and cheaper than GPT-6 Astra, a model from OpenAI.
• Google's Gemini 4 Argon scored lower on a benchmark measuring how efficiently a model uses its text units (tokens).
• Open time-series models, which predict values over time such as sales or sensor readings, were also released.
