Scammers use fake AI event pages to steal workers' login credentials
First reported
Interconnects ran this on , 2 days before the next source picked it up.
- Attackers built fake pages for nonexistent AI events, including OpenAI, SpaceX and Anthropic presentations, promising free subscriptions or shares.
- Visitors were told to sign in with a Microsoft or Google account to claim the rewards, which handed their login details to the hackers.
- The scheme uses two phishing-as-a-service kits, Kali365 and VoidProxy, and hides its links behind Google and Zapier redirects to slip past security scanners.
