OpenAI plans to merge ChatGPT's Chat and Work tabs into one experience

- OpenAI, maker of the ChatGPT chatbot, will combine its Chat and Work tabs in the desktop app, starting with select users for feedback.
- Users could bring in files and plugins and have ChatGPT build a website or presentation, while Codex stays a separate section.
- ChatGPT and Codex will share one usage allowance measured in tokens, so heavier users may wait longer for resets.
