- Mistral, a French AI company, released Mistral Large 4, a model with about one trillion parameters (the numerical settings that shape its behavior).
- Its Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index score of 38 puts it behind several Chinese open models, and it costs more per task than most of them.
- Mistral says it leads on cybersecurity tests and was trained on 3,800 Nvidia chips in its own European datacenters.
