- IBM invested nearly $4 billion building Watson Health, an AI system meant to help doctors treat cancer patients worldwide, after Watson won Jeopardy in 2011.
- The system failed in real hospitals, giving wrong or unsafe treatment suggestions and only matching doctor decisions 33% of the time in Danish testing.
