Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash, a smaller model priced at introductory rates ($0.75-$3.75 per million tokens) that ranks at the top of the DeepSWE leaderboard for software engineering tasks.
A specialized Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber variant, tuned for finding and fixing security vulnerabilities, produced patches 2.6 times more accurate than previous versions in internal testing.
