DeepSeek plans large purchase of Huawei AI chips

- DeepSeek, a Chinese AI company, planned to order at least 160,000 Huawei Ascend 950DT chips, which are processors designed to run AI models.
- The chips would support a new data center facility that DeepSeek planned to build in Inner Mongolia, a region in northern China.
