Apple begins beta testing Watch features that recap and replay conversations
First reported
Engadget and TechCrunch ran this on , all on the same day.
- Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 owners on a beta build can now test Siri Recap and Live Rewind, both of which listen to nearby speech.
- Live Rewind shows the last 15 seconds of speech as text, which you can save or delete, and it auto-deletes unsaved snippets after 30 seconds.
- Siri Recap writes short summaries and bullet points rather than transcripts, and it omits speaker names and sensitive financial or identity details.
